CARD INFORMATION UPDATE...
Welcome, The idea behind this site is to keep you up to date on what the current status is of our cards. I am hoping to get the process of updating the cards more streamlined and efficient as possible, and believe this site will help do just that. From this point on I will not be updating cards at my residence the traffic gets a bit much and the time it takes to explain and talk to each individual person is slowing the updating process, due to this I will be setting up a local drop off where you can go and drop off your card(s) in a box on a date that you will know by either checking here or by phone. (Don't worry you have 1 full day to get the card to the drop off) I will pick the cards up at the end of that day and update them that evening, the following day/evening I will meet with you at a local predetermined place to give you back your card and answer any questions you may have, you will know where to go to pick up the card as I will post it here or tell you when we talk on the phone. Here is an outline on how the updating process will work:
1. When the cards go down please check here for information on what happened, please keep in mind that it
may take me a few hours to update this site after they go down.
2. Once I have a "fix" I will post it here along with instructions on when/where to take your card to the drop
box and where/when to meet me to pick them up.
3. When dropping off your card the slot on the box will be big enough for a thick standard envelope.
Please include the following with your card:
For Boot Board using the old H card $5.00 (only drop off the card not the board)
For the new HU (football) card $10.00
Please put your full name on the envelope, after the first update I will put a new sticker on your card with
your name.
Hopefully this will work well for all and bring some structure and order to the process. If you miss
dropping off your card other arrangements will have to made over the phone, please do not drop by the
house as I will not update cards for anyone in this fashion. We will still be in contact with one another
through this site or on the phone. Your understanding and patience is appreciated in this matter. Below I

I recently received beta software that will unloop 2 out of 10 HU cards the only problem is it takes 20 min to 2 hours to run the process on a single card and on top off that it came with a warning stating that some cards could be damaged further by running this process on them..although this is not a solution and I will not be running this on your card it is a step in the right direction and this beta software will improve to the point where it can be used to fix most cards, there are allot of people working on this and hopefully it will be a viable fix for us soon.

H cards that run in the boot boards went down Thursday April 5th, I have been fixing these since Friday if you have an old H that has not been "fixed" please call to make arrangements to have it done, after all are fixed, the next time they go down you will have to drop them off to the local drop box more info when the time comes. As for the Hu (football) cards that went down Thursday March 29th these cards are "looped" and require new software to unloop them, the software for this is presently not available through my sources, however it is in development and will be made available soon (soon is all they will tell me!) hopefully within the next week or two. I do have new software for HU (football) cards that were never programmed before or did not get hit, if you have a back up card and would like it done please call me. The HU (football) cards that were hit were hit by the card number the ones that did not go down have a number that for whatever reason has not been entered into Directs database to be shut down, Direct has a huge database of over 10 million card numbers to keep track of, some will take longer than others to get in the stream. For the HU (football) owners that are down please be patient (I know its hard!) the fix will come. Anyone with an old H card there is an option, you can purchase a Boot Board for $100.00 that will work and should be easier to bring back up if they go down than the newer lesser known HU (football) cards. I understand that buying a Boot Board is again more money and you must ask yourself "how much $$ am I willing to throw at something that has "no guarantee" if you are patient the fix for the HU will come but I just wanted to point out that this option is available.
